Salted Caramel Matcha Latte

Soft, sweet, grounding — a natural caramel made from dates.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Shinrin Soul Ceremonial Organic Matcha Powder.
  • 70 ml hot water (70ºC).
  • 1 cup coconut milk.
  • 1 Medjool date, pitted.
  • A pinch of sea salt.
  • Ice (optional).

Instructions:

Step 1 — Make the natural caramel.
  • Blend the Medjool date, almond milk, and a pinch of sea salt until smooth and creamy.  (This becomes your salted caramel milk.)

Step 2 — Prepare your matcha.

  •  Add 1 tsp matcha to a bowl and sift for extra smoothness.
  • Pour in hot water and whisk in fast “M” motions until frothy.
Step 3 — Combine.
  • Pour your warm or iced salted-caramel milk into a cup.
  • Gently pour the matcha over the top and swirl.
Step 4 — Enjoy
  • A decadent yet balanced ritual, naturally sweet without additives.
